Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and Trusted Rips LLC, a Michigan limited liability company (“Trusted Rips,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your use of trustedrips.com, the accounts and tools we offer there (including the collection tracker, break history, and Trusted Buybacks), and the ways you interact with us off-platform, such as by email or text (together, the “Services”).
By creating an account or using the Services you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. Some parts of the Services have their own rules that are part of these Terms: the Trusted Buybacks & Coupon Terms, the Break Rules, Odds & Fairness page, and the Shipping & Refund Policy.
Please read section 12. It contains an agreement to resolve disputes through binding individual arbitration and a waiver of class actions. You can opt out within 30 days of accepting these Terms.
1. Who we are and what we do
Trusted Ripsruns live graded-card (“slab”) repack breaks and sells individual cards on Whatnot at https://www.whatnot.com/user/trustedrips. In a break, buyers purchase spots, a team is drawn for each spot on camera, and each card revealed goes to whoever holds the player’s team. The details are in our Break Rules, Odds & Fairness page.
Our website gives you a home for all of that: a schedule of upcoming streams, public break statistics, an account that tracks the spots you bought and the cards you won, and Trusted Buybacks, where we may offer to buy a card back from you after a break. The website does not currently sell anything directly; every purchase happens on Whatnot.
2. Eligibility and age
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use the collection tracker and other account features.
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to buy a spot or a card, to claim a Trusted Buyback, or to receive any cash payout or coupon from us. Purchases happen on Whatnot, which applies its own age requirements as well.
- You must live in the United States or another location Whatnot allows us to sell to, and you must not be barred from using the Services under any law that applies to you.
We ask for your date of birth when you sign up and may verify your age and identity before paying you anything (see the Buyback Terms). If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we will close it and delete the personal information we collected, as described in our Privacy Policy.
3. Your account
You need an account to use the tracker, link your Whatnot username, and respond to buyback offers. When you create one, you agree to:
- give us accurate information, including your real date of birth, and keep it current;
- keep your password private and not share your account with anyone else;
- only claim a Whatnot, TikTok, or other username that is actually yours. We review claims and may ask you to prove ownership;
- tell us promptly at info@trustedrips.com if you think someone else has used your account.
You are responsible for everything that happens under your account until you tell us it has been compromised. You may close your account at any time by emailing us; any buyback request already approved will still be completed under the Buyback Terms.
We use AI technology to help operate our business; see the Privacy Policy for how your information, including purchase information, is shared with AI models.
4. Purchases on Whatnot
Every spot, card, and other item we sell is sold through Whatnot. When you buy from us there, Whatnot handles checkout, payment, sales tax, shipping labels, refunds, and disputes under Whatnot’s own terms of service, buyer protection rules, and policies. Those Whatnot rules govern the purchase itself; these Terms govern only the website, your account, and Trusted Buybacks.
Our website shows information about your Whatnot purchases so you can track them. That information comes from Whatnot and may lag behind or contain errors; the Whatnot order record controls if they disagree. If something is wrong with an order (a missing, damaged, or wrong item, or a shipping problem), start with Whatnot’s support process as described in our Shipping & Refund Policy, and message us on Whatnot so we can help.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to do any of the following while using the Services:
- break any law, or use the Services to defraud, harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone, including Trusted Rips staff;
- create more than one account, use someone else’s account, or claim a username, purchase, or card that is not yours;
- lie about your age or identity, or submit forged, altered, or borrowed identity documents;
- submit a buyback request or payout details for a card you did not win, or attempt to be paid twice for the same card;
- scrape, crawl, or copy the site by automated means beyond what a normal browser does, probe or overload our systems, or try to bypass access controls;
- upload or send anything that contains malware, that infringes someone else’s rights, or that is obscene, hateful, or otherwise unlawful;
- resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any part of the Services without our written permission.
We may investigate suspected violations, suspend or close accounts, cancel buyback offers or requests, and report activity to Whatnot, payment providers, or law enforcement.
6. Our content and intellectual property
The Trusted Rips name, the TR monogram and logos, our website design, code, text, graphics, videos, photographs of our inventory, and the statistics and data compilations we publish are owned by Trusted Rips LLC or licensed to us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to view and use the Services for your own non-commercial purposes. All other rights are reserved.
You may share links to our pages and screenshots of your own results. You may not remove our branding from our content, present it as your own, or use our name or logo to suggest we endorse you without written permission.
7. No affiliation with leagues, players, graders, or manufacturers

We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS, the NCAA, any team, player, or players’ association; by PSA, BGS/Beckett, SGC, CGC, or any other grading service; by Panini, Topps, Fanatics, Upper Deck, or any other card manufacturer; or by Whatnot. If you own rights in something on our site and believe it is being used improperly, email info@trustedrips.comwith the subject line “IP Notice,” a description of the work, the page where it appears, your contact information, and a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized. We respond promptly to valid notices.
8. Content you give us
You keep ownership of anything you send us, such as a display name, messages, photos of your cards, or feedback. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, store, reproduce, and display that content as needed to run and promote the Services, for example showing your display name next to your hits, or featuring a clip of your reaction on stream. You promise that you have the rights to give us that license and that your content does not violate section 5. Ideas and suggestions you send us may be used without any obligation to you.
9. Disclaimers
Cards are collectibles, not investments.Values move. Any dollar figure we show for a card, whether a floor, a case range, a “last sale,” a P/L figure, or a buyback offer, is an estimate derived from recorded sales at a point in time. It is not an appraisal, a guarantee of value, or a promise that a card will sell for that amount. Past hit rates and break statistics are historical and do not predict future results.
The Services are provided “as is.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Nothing in this section limits the rights Whatnot gives you for a Whatnot purchase, or any consumer right that cannot be disclaimed under the law where you live.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Trusted Rips LLC and its owners, members, managers, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost value, or lost data, arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms, even if we were told such damages were possible.
Our total liability for all claims relating to the Services or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100) or (b) the amount you paid to us, or we paid to you, in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Claims about a Whatnot purchase are handled through Whatnot and are not counted here. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Trusted Rips LLCand the people listed in section 10 from any claim, loss, liability, and reasonable expense (including attorney fees) that arises from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, your violation of any law or of someone else’s rights, or a dispute between you and another user. We may take over the defense of any matter you are indemnifying us for, and you agree to cooperate.
12. Dispute resolution, arbitration, and class waiver
Talk to us first
Most problems can be fixed with an email. Before starting any formal proceeding, you agree to send a written description of the dispute and what you want to info@trustedrips.com(subject line “Dispute Notice”) or to our mailing address below, and we agree to do the same to the email on your account. Both sides will try in good faith to resolve it within 60 days of the notice.
Binding individual arbitration
If we cannot resolve it, you and Trusted Rips LLC agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Services, or our relationship (including whether this section applies) will be resolved by binding individual arbitrationadministered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect, available at www.adr.org. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. The arbitrator may award the same individual relief a court could, and the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction. The arbitration will be held in Oakland County, Michigan, by video, or by written submission, as the AAA rules allow, and we will pay the arbitration fees above what you would pay to file in small-claims court unless the arbitrator finds your claim frivolous.
Small-claims carve-out
Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court in the county where you live or in Oakland County, Michigan, as long as it stays in that court and is not brought on a class or representative basis.
Class-action waiver
You and Trusted Rips LLCeach agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not combine more than one person’s claims or preside over any form of representative proceeding. If this waiver is found unenforceable for a particular claim, that claim will be heard in court under section 13, and the rest of this section still applies to every other claim.
30-day opt-out
You can reject this arbitration agreement by emailing info@trustedrips.comwith the subject line “Arbitration Opt-Out,” or mailing a letter to the address in section 17, within 30 days after you first accept these Terms. Include your name and the email on your account. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms, and it does not affect any arbitration agreement you may have with Whatnot.
13. Governing law and venue
These Terms and any dispute between us are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. For any matter that is not subject to arbitration, you and Trusted Rips LLC agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Oakland County, Michigan, and waive any objection to venue there. Consumer-protection laws of the state where you live may still apply to you where they cannot be waived.
14. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close your account, cancel pending buyback offers or requests, or restrict your access to the Services at any time if we reasonably believe you have broken these Terms, created a risk for us or other users, or if we stop offering the Services. Where practical we will tell you why. Sections 6 through 13 and 16 survive termination, as does any obligation that by its nature should continue (for example, completing a payout we have already approved).
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the business changes. The current version is always at trustedrips.com/terms with its effective date. For material changes we will give notice, such as an email to your account address or a banner on the site, at least 14 days before the change takes effect unless the change is required by law or addresses a security issue. Continuing to use the Services after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, close your account before then. Changes to the arbitration section do not apply to a dispute that either side had already notified the other about.
16. General terms
- Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the policies linked in the introduction are the whole agreement between you and us about the Services.
- Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect, and the unenforceable part will be enforced to the maximum extent allowed (subject to the class-waiver rule in section 12).
- No waiver. If we do not enforce a provision, that is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
- Assignment. You may not transfer these Terms or your account to anyone else. We may assign them to a successor of the business, and will tell you if we do.
- Notices. We may send notices to the email address on your account. Send notices to us at the email or mailing address in section 17.
- Force majeure. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including platform outages, carrier failures, and internet interruptions.
